***People in that neighborhood said that the SUV was parked there ALL WEEKEND, although some people say it was seen parked in that neighborhood since just this morning.
*****At the Hudson home last week, shot's were heard and reported in the MORNING, but the bodies were found in the AFTERNOON.
Now I would like to say that there is something seriously wrong with some of the people in Chicago, in that area, when it comes to reporting crimes....AND....there is something seriously wrong with the police department, when it comes to checking on 911 calls that come into the call center.
In order words, people need to move a lot faster after a crime has been committed. And forget that deal of not wanting to be considered a "rat or snitch" by your neighbors because you told the police about information on a crime....now that's absurd.
Call me a rat and a snitch if you want to, but I'm calling 911. That child could have been dying and could have been saved if the police came in time. He could have been suffering in the back of that SUV bleeding out for hours in horrible pain.
To think that, that SUV was parked in that other neighborhood only 15 blocks away, ALL WEEKEND long with a child's dead body in the back of it, with people walking by it, and looking down into/onto that child laying dead on the backseat floor of it, is down right disgusting to me.

It's so sad to think about it that way. But I totally agree, the amount of apathy in this country is staggering. There was a video that got national attention a few months ago about an elderly gentleman who was hit by a car. People just looked and kept walking. It sickened me.
1People are loosing so much feeling for the next man, it's ashame. You shouldn't have to know me in order to care about my physical being. If I saw you harmed and you were my enemy, I would still help you, at least by calling 911. I would not step over your bleeding body and continue about my day.
People want a medal these days for helping someone, and if they don't feel they'll get it or national attention, then their NOT helping anybody out...sad huh...but true.
2I agree with PinkNc. And what a horrible story about the elderly gentleman Great Sommelier. Too many people are so heartless these days.
