Chicago police have confirmed the harrowing news. The body of a young boy found in an abandoned SUV is in fact that of Jennifer Hudson's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King.
"Tragically, search efforts ended shortly after 7 a.m.," Police Superintendent Jody Weis said at a press conference this afternoon in Chicago.

***People in that neighborhood said that the SUV was parked there ALL WEEKEND, although some people say it was seen parked in that neighborhood since just this morning.
*****At the Hudson home last week, shot's were heard and reported in the MORNING, but the bodies were found in the AFTERNOON.
Now I would like to say that there is something seriously wrong with some of the people in Chicago, in that area, when it comes to reporting crimes....AND....there is something seriously wrong with the police department, when it comes to checking on 911 calls that come into the call center.

Speaking at a news conference on an unrelated matter, FBI Deputy Director John Pistole said the body is "believed to be" Hudson's nephew, Julian King, and the FBI is working with the Chicago Police Department to confirm the identity.
Deputy Chief Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said police were responding to "a call about a suspicious auto" in the west side of Chicago at approximately 7 a.m.
